Arduino Pro Mini Without Regulator

I cut off the LDO voltage regulator from the Pro Mini clone, as I stated in previous post. The board itself still works fine, but now it requires external regulation. I tried powering the Pro Mini clone using a breadboard power supply with AMS1117-5.0. Worked as expected. Now the ssd1306_128x32_i2c example sketch from before only consumed maximum of 42.34mA, instead of 100mA. Too bad the XC6219B502MR-G regulator broke before I could make a proper comparison against AMS1117-5.0.

That’s it for now.
